    Light Requirements
  • Bright, indirect light: Place near an east-, west-, or bright north-facing window to keep the variegation bright and colorful.
  • Avoid direct sun: Harsh afternoon sun will scorch and burn the delicate leaves.
  • Low light tolerance: It can survive in lower light, but growth will slow and the chartreuse variegation may fade to solid green.

  • Check the soil: Allow the top 2 to 3 inches (or the top half) of the soil to dry out completely before watering again.
  • Prevent root rot: Overwatering causes yellow leaves and root rot; always ensure your pot has a functional drainage hole
